BIOGRAPHY
EMIL KHACHATURIAN
Guitarist • Composer • Concert Producer
Based in Canada, Emil Khachaturian is an international guitarist and composer whose original music brings together Mediterranean melodies, Latin rhythms, jazz, fusion, flamenco, and cinematic influences.
At the heart of his work is Music That Heals the Soul, a concert project built around original compositions, live improvisation, and a close connection with the audience. His music moves between quiet, reflective passages and vibrant rhythms, with the guitar telling a story beyond words.
Emil has performed at festivals and cultural events including the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), Laima Rendezvous Festival, and the Safed (Tzfat) Klezmer Festival. His collaborations span orchestras, chamber ensembles, vocalists, dancers, and visual artists.
His compositions have received Grand Prix awards and other honours at international music competitions, where he has also served as a juror.
From solo performances to duos, trios, and larger ensembles, Emil brings his music to concert halls, festivals, intimate venues, and private events. Each performance leaves room for spontaneity, shaped by the musicians, the setting, and the people listening.
“My instrument is guitar. My language is music.”
Music for your soul.
